Process Description
JXSC has provided a complete set of equipment for the Ethiopia 5TPH Placer and 2TPH Rock Gold Process Plant Project. It is configured with a trommel screen, jaw crusher, hammer crusher, gold centrifugal concentrator, shaking table, sluice box, belt conveyors, water & slurry pumps, etc.

This project is located in Guinea. The client is a local mining company, focusing on small-scale sand gold and hard rock gold mixing ore mining. They required a reliable and easy-to-operate gold processing solution.
Raw Ore Information
The raw ore is sand gold without sticky clay and hard rock quartz gold with a maximum feed size of 150 mm. The gold particles are mainly fine gold, and need to be ground to 0-2mm size, to liberate the gold inside the rocks.
Processing Capacity Requirement
The client required a processing capacity of sand gold wsahing 5tons per hour and 2tons per hour of rock gold, with the possibility to upgrade to 10TPH or 15TPH in the future.
Our Process Design & Solution
Process Description
1. Trommel screen with screen bar washing the material without sticky clay and separating the stones,0-3mm to gold centrifugal,3-20 to sluice box, over 20mm to jaw crusher.
2. Gold centrifugal tailings to a sluice box to improve the recovery rate
3. Belt conveyor transfers the materials to the jaw crusher to grind the stone from 150mm to 40mm in size.
4. Belt conveyor transfers the materials from the jaw crusher to the hammer crusher to grind the stone from 40mm to 2mm in size.
5. Materials from the hammer crusher to the shaking table to recover gold.
6. Shaking table gold concentrate to the melting machine to get a gold bar.

① What gold recovery rate can be achieved?
The gravity recovery rate can reach 85–90%, depending on the ore condition.
② Why use a trommel screen not use trommel scrubber for washing?
We determine whether to use a trommel scrubber machine or a trommel screen based on the customer’s mining site conditions. In this customer’s case, the material at their mining site is not sticky and is very easy to clean.
③ Why use a hammer crusher not use ball mill?
Ball mills can grind materials down to 1mm, and hammer crushers can crush materials to below 2mm. Tests on this customer’s ore showed that crushing it to 2mm allows for the recovery of the maximum amount of gold, so 2mm is more suitable for him. Grinding it too finely would actually negatively affect the recovery rate.
④ Can you provide the equipment drawings?
Once we receive your deposit payment, our engineer will design the detailed plant layout drawing, foundation drawing for you, and also each main machine’s drawing & machine operation manual.
All the technical support will be provided to assist with the installation.
⑤ Do your products have CE or ISO certificates?
Yes, all the equipment in this order has CE certificates and ISO certificates.
⑥Could you tell me the approximate replacement cycle for the wear parts?
Yes, we can provide an estimated replacement cycle for wear parts.
⑦ Can you provide the engineer for us?
If the buyer needs JXSC to send engineers to the mine site for installation & commissioning guidance, need the following extra cost:
1) The engineer’s salary is about $150/day/person; installation time depends on the customer’s mine site preparation conditions.
2) Round-trip ticket cost
3) Visa application cost
4) Any other potential cost before or after the installation period, such as hotel cost, waiting for flight,ect
