Arc Plate Type Electrostatic Separator

ARC plate electrostatic separators are widely used in mining, mineral processing, metal and electronic recycling, plastic recycling and other industries.

Capacity: 1-3 t/h
Applicable materials: It is commonly used for the separation of manganese ore, ilmenite, high-tin tungsten ore, rutile, garnet, tantalum-niobium ore, chromite, feldspar, rare earth ore, beach sand, monazite and zircon ore.

Description

ARC plate type electrostatic separator is a dry sorting equipment that utilizes the difference in electrical properties of materials to achieve separation in a high-voltage corona electric field. It can efficiently and accurately separate different materials, such as selecting small amounts of metallic conductor minerals from non-metallic materials. It is especially suitable for separating and purifying mineral sand. It operates without water or other liquid media and consumes less energy, helping to improve overall operating efficiency.

Advantages

Principle

ARC plate electrostatic separators are ARC-shaped plates, usually arranged in a circular or semi-circular pattern. The materials to be separated are first turbocharged, which means they acquire an electrostatic charge through the contact or friction process. The charged particles are subjected to the electric field within the ARC plate separator. Oppositely charged particles attract each other, while equally charged particles repel each other. At the end of the ARC, there are collection bins or other receiving devices to collect the separated particles based on their electrostatic properties.
